Dr. Dwinita Mosby Tyler
Owner + Founder
Dr. Dwinita Mosby Tyler specializes in the development and delivery of equity, leadership, diversity, cultural responsiveness, and inclusiveness training programs and strategies. In addition to founding The HR Shop, she is also the founder of The Equity Project, a boutique EDI consulting firm that helps organizations examine and re-imagine their systems to ensure each colleague has what they need to thrive.
Dr. Mosby Tyler is the former Senior Vice President and Chief Inclusion Officer for Children’s Hospital Colorado — the first Black woman to hold that position in the organization’s 100+ year history. She is also the former Executive Director of the Office of Human Resources for the City and County of Denver — the first Black woman to hold that position in the 63+ year history of the agency. -
Rene Gallegos
Chief Executive Officer
Rene, CEO of The HR Shop, LLC, brings a unique combination of human resources, business operations/administration, and compliance experience to the team. Rene acts as a proactive & strategic advisor across our clients’ Senior Executive Management teams, utilizing negotiation, employment law, compensation management, change & risk management and more as tools to implement practical resolutions to complex and challenging business and employee issues.
Rene has practiced in multi-disciplinary management roles for over 20 years, with more than 10 years of Executive Level management experience in providing resourceful and dynamic leadership. Her most recent role was for Colorado Access, where she served as Vice President of Administrative Services.
Rene holds a BA in Business Administration and a Professional Academy for Healthcare Management designation/certification. She is also a Golden Council Member for the International Business Fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi. -
Jennifer Robinson
Human Resources Consultant
Jennifer, our Human Resources Consultant, provides day-to-day consultative services to employees & management, counseling employees on company policies, and maintaining compliance. She thoroughly enjoys educating & guiding employers in building a more diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace.
As a dependable, detail-oriented global senior human resources professional, Jennifer has over 20 years of human resources experience in global mobility (relocation/immigration) administration, recruiting, employee relations, workers compensation, benefits administration, and project management. She also has deep expertise in benefits & payroll administration, talent management/recruitment, compensation practices, training and development, project management and employee relations.
Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University & SHRM 400 accreditation from Regis University. -
Bren Mientka
Human Resources Strategist
Bren, our Human Resources Strategist, is passionate about changing perceptions in the workplace and the value of including inclusive perspectives in HR strategies. Bren focuses in the areas of strategic human resources planning & management, regulatory and policy compliance and best practices, compensation, and job descriptions, employee handbooks, and performance management.
As an accomplished and seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in human resources, compliance, security, legal, risk management, business operations, and administration, Bren excels in devising, navigating, and implementing practical solutions to complex and challenging human resources and compliance issues.
Bren holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri, an ABA-approved post graduate paralegal certificate, is a certified fraud examiner, and held Top Secret Security clearance for 10 years while working with the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Taskforce in Denver and Quantico. Bre also served on the Colorado Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee for 14 years.
